Greatest Airliners Product Notes and Updates This page is here to supply information and links to potential updates for users of Greatest Airliners: The 737-400. If you have any support questions, please visit the Dreamfleet 2000 forum as that is where many of the developers are hanging out. Latest Releases and Updates: Please note that the following updates are not required if you see one of the following: "ESD Release 3" in the wrapper screen of your downloaded software (if you downloaded after Jan. 3, 2002). If your CD ROM Edition has an FS2002 installation option (if you purchased after Jan. 23, 2002). Click here for the most recent major update. This page gives you instructions on the most recent major update that adds FS2002 compatibility as well as add fixes to the FS2000 edition. Cold Climate Update (3MB). This update addresses issues when flying in very cold weather. This update is recommended for all users. It is currently not in the above update so please download this separately. Again, this update is not required for "ESD Release 3" users. General Program Installation Notes: If you attempt to start the aircraft and you can't find it from the aircraft list, or you attempt to start the FMC and get a path not found error, then you may have a very early version of the application that placed files in a "Greatest Airliners" sub-folder in Flight Simulator. The best way to fix this is to do a simple removal of the program in Add/Remove programs, and reinstall making sure the final path is FS2000, not FS2000\Greatest Airliners. You can remove the Greatest Airliners text in the installation screen. If you are getting a black screen in the EADI & EHSI displays: Simply reselect another aircraft from the Aircraft menu in Flight Simulator, then reload the 737. This error is because of inherited variables from a previous, or default, flight. To avoid this, simply save a flight with the 737, and load this flight. Please stay tuned to this site or the Dreamfleet 2000 forum for new information as it arrives. |
