Flight1 uses an optional account system for purchases. This article describes what Flight1 accounts do, why you may want to create one, and why they are optional.

Opening an account with Flight1.com is very easy, and no purchase is required! An account can be used at the time of purchase however, and your order will be assigned to your account.

Here are some benefits of a Flight1 account.

For downloads:

• You can use the "keyless" reinstall system. Simply by entering your correct account login and password, you can reinstall your Flight1 product. No key file is required.
• All your orders will be listed under a single password. There is no need to remember different passwords.

For boxed titles:

• You will have the ability to collect Flight1 Miles that can be used for boxed product discounts.

Important note: Flight1 accounts are not automatically created when you make a purchase. If you have an account, you can have orders assigned to your account at the time of purchase. Past orders not part of your account can also be assigned. See the links above for more information.

Most Flight1 products can be assigned to your account. Some titles that are older or some by some of our vendor partners may not yet be able to be assigned. If your purchase screen of the downloaded EXE that you have has 3 big buttons (the 1-2-3 purchase process), then that product can be assigned to your account.
