EZdok Camera Addon (EZCA) for Microsoft Flight Simulator X

Flight One Software, in partnership with EZdok Software, is excited to offer EZdok Camera for Microsoft Flight Simulator X.

EZdok Camera (EZCA) is a camera and effects system and manager that enhances the pilot experience in FSX. It offers view control in Flight Simulator for easy navigation throughout the virtual cockpit and cabin, around the aircraft, and around the Flight Simulator world. But also very exciting are the effects exerted on the pilot, immersing the virtual pilot in a more realistic physical simulation of aviation. We believe EZCA is one of the "Must Have" technologies for FSX.

EZCA is a tool that incorporates visual effects of both pilot and camera shake, caused by aircraft accelerations, surfaces, and turbulence, that makes flying in Flight Simulator more immersing and realistic. EZCA is also a great tool that can be used by flight sim movie making enthusiasts to make their videos more exciting.

Product Features

  • Travel over the virtual cockpit of the aircraft, around the aircraft and around the flight simulator world.

  • Camera smoothly "floats" from the current to a new position.

  • Create up to 255 internal, external aircraft, and world cameras for every aircraft. Edit POV and location of the camera "on-the-fly" with the mouse and keyboard.

  • Switch between the cameras with joystick buttons or keyboard shortcuts. This switching can be instant, or smooth thanks to PtP technology.

  • Enable and disable mouse look mode with the middle mouse button.

  • 3D panoramic mode.

  • Create and modify your own dynamic head movements effects with built-in effects editor.

  • Export and import settings to external file for back-up or for sharing with other EZCA users. You can export camera settings and settings for every single effect or module separately.

  • Video Previews

Here are some previews provided by the programmers that show a lot of what EZCA can do

Video Demonstration of the Effect System

Video showing Under-wing Camera and Handycam in Passenger Hands

    EZCA and Flight1 Citation Mustang

    EZdok User Manual

Preview the utility by downloading the EZDok User Manual (PDF).

Important! The first sections of the manual describe how to setup your FSX joystick and keyboard settings. At a minimum, all purchasers should read the section on setting up your FSX to use EZdok. It is all very simple to do, but it is important that EZdok customers do this.

    TrackIR Compatible

If you have the Track IR hardware view system, EZdok now has compatibility with Track IR. You need to have version 5 of the Track IR software.

    Download Information

After downloading, run the EXE. The purchase screen will then appear.

Administrator Access Required: Because FSX by default is in the Program Files folder, and camera entries need to be written to FSX, you need to make sure that User Account Control or other user settings in Vista or Windows 7 do not prevent the writing of data to the FSX folders. This may mean you need to turn User Account Control off, and/or right click the EZCA Config tool and select Run as Administrator (the same applies to FSX).
